Our Parent and Baby classes are for swimmers who are age three months – two years
Each week a parent joins their baby in the water to help them develop breath control, floating, kicking, grip and water confidence.
We have our own bespoke teaching methods that follow the Swim England Discovery Duckling awards program (Discovery Duckling Awards) which aims to help babies, toddlers and parents become happy and water confident together.
Our Teachers instruct all lessons from the poolside so that they have a safe overview of the whole class, this also ensures that the correct practice is being performed safely by everyone at all times.
We are also an Aqua Sensory Advanced Swim School and share the ethos that children & parents need time to develop, learn & explore together at their own pace – the pool is the perfect place!
We have a maximum of only Nine “pairs” booked into each class, to ensure that there are enough parents & babies attending each week to give the class group a fun interaction and social bonding experience, but still keeping the group size small enough deliver first class lessons in a safe, calm and relaxed learning environment.
Please Note: We do not include any forced submersion during our classes. We believe that any submersion should only be performed when baby & parent are both ready.
We have one parent only accompanying their baby each week, this ensures that we do not end up with more adults than babies in the class! You can of course alternate each week so that both parents have the opportunity to enjoy the classes.

Parents are advised to wear a baggy T-Shirt in the water for Babies to grip during class.
You are able to join at any time during a course if space is available and pay only for the remaining classes from that point.
