Aqua Aims is committed to an environment in which all children, young people and adults participating in our activities have a safe and positive experience and we use the Swim England Safeguarding Policy – Wavepower Guidelines.
Aqua Aims will ensure that all children / adults participating (regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ability or disability) have a right to enjoy their involvement in swimming in a safe environment and be protected from harm.
All Aqua Aims staff have the appropriate qualifications training and DBS checks before they carry out their roles with us and have agreed to work to these guidelines.
Aqua Aims will ensure that all staff who work with our swimmers will provide a positive and enjoyable experience at all times.
All Aqua Aims staff and all swimmers, parents and carers have the opportunity to raise concerns in a confidential manner directly with our Booking Manager on 07930 139 634 or to the Swim Session Manager on site if they have a concern about welfare or safety.
Aqua Aims will ensure that all safeguarding matters, whether they be concerns about child or adults welfare or protection are dealt with appropriately in accordance with the Wavepower Policy.
Aqua Aims will ensure that confidentiality is maintained appropriately and in line with the best interests of the child / adult and will ensure that all details and documents relating to safeguarding matters are held in a safe and secure manner.
